+'Marble Queen' gives a variegated pattern of creamy yellow and green variegation throughout the foliage of this marginal (bog) plant. In the spring, this plant forms a stout rosette of submerged leaves that look like light green, undulatiing water lily-like leaves. However, it also has a strong tendency to grow above the surface in shallow water (depth 18" and under) and send up leaf blades which are stiffer and have a heart shape. In the summer, white flowers bloom for a long period on stalks that are first erect, but later arch over. It will reach about 2 feet tall by 3 feet spread, prefers part sun, and is hardy to about 20 degrees F.
